This laminated wooden tray features hand-drawn illustrations by artist Janetmarie Colby. The imaginative, playful illustrations include recreational activities, tourist attractions, and historical buildings. Among the illustrated sights are the White House, the U.S. Capitol, and the museums of the Smithsonian Institution. The underlying map by Carol Mendel was originally created in 1991. The version of the map used on this tray is from 2019. The wooden tray is sealed with matte melamine seal.
